How to do a Plank
Targets: core, shoulders, legs, back, biceps, glutes, thighs
Beginner
Get in a slightly elongated table top position with hands about shoulder width apart. Slightly bend at the knees so your feet are off of the ground. Tuck your glues and squeeze your shoulders back so that your body is in a straight line. Squeeze your core and glutes and hold as long as you can, maintaining your form.
Advanced
Place your forearms on the ground with your shoulders over top of your elbows. Straighten your legs out and keep your feet together. Tuck your glutes and squeeze your shoulders back so that your body is not bending one way or the other. Squeeze your core and glutes and hold as long as you can, maintaining your form.
