Semi-Private Groups
Our semi-private strength training groups are limited to 6 people. We know working out is more fun when you get to know the people you’re with. You still get that one-on-one assistance from your trainer, plus a few new friends to hold you accountable.
Personalized Attention
We want you to get the most out of every workout, which is why we keep our classes small. Our trainers will know you and your goals and can give you personalized attention during your workouts. Want to know your progress? You’ll have access to the Booty Lab app to track your workouts, weights, reps, goals, and more!

Meet Our Team
Rebecca McAbee
Owner and Trainer
NSCA-CPT, FMS level 1
Fitness has always been a pivotal part of my life. As a young girl, cheerleading brought me a sense of athleticism and competitiveness that carried me to where I am today.
I began working as a special needs teacher, fulfilling my passion for helping others and instructing. However, when I met my husband Chris several years later, I discovered another passion; the health and training field. Training became a way to fuse fitness and teaching into my daily life.
Today, I am the proud owner of Booty Lab. My mission is to help women meet their health and fitness goals in a challenging, exciting, comfortable environment.
The most enjoyable and rewarding aspect of being a trainer is seeing your clients achieve their goals and be successful. Every day I get to witness individuals do more and be more than they ever dreamed of. My clients have coined me as the “glute queen,” since this is a focus of every session. I primarily work with females to help them achieve an athletic, yet feminine physique, and more importantly find confidence in themselves as beautiful, strong women.
Hannah Williams

I grew up in a very active household and was involved in sports from a young age, which naturally progressed into an interest in HIIT and weightlifting when I came to UNCW after high school. I started working out regularly and loved the positive changes it brought to my life and wanted to share these with others, which led me to obtain my personal trainer certification in 2019.
Since then, I have been training with clients of all ages and skill levels and recently graduated with a degree in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology. Through my degree and certifications, I have learned a lot about health, fitness, and how to increase gains and performance in the gym. I have a passion for sharing this knowledge with others and helping them become the best version of themselves they can be.
Maggie Samanich
Trainer
Growing up, I loved sports. I tried just about everything until I fell in love with soccer. I had a special talent, but more importantly, I was very competitive. I love working hard. Soccer gave me new experiences and allowed me to attend The Ohio State University, where great mentors surrounded me. I received my undergrad degree in Business Administration in 2021.
During my senior soccer season at OSU, I was injured with an ACL tear, the second in my life. Going through two ACL recoveries took a toll on my mental and physical health, but it also opened my eyes to the importance of strength training. I had to undergo the most strength training I probably had ever done before my rehab injuries.
My strength coach throughout my time as a college soccer player was a fantastic mentor, and I always wanted to work hard for her. She had this energy as a coach that made my team respect her so much that we did not want to let her down. The weight room became my safe space. Whenever soccer practice did not go great, the weight room was where I was able to just work hard, have fun, and show off. I loved the energy of max rep days and pull-up competitions.
In December 2022, I graduated with my Master of Science in Kinesiology from OSU. I have experience training 6- to 60-year-old individuals with all sorts of different goals. My passion comes from knowing how much strength training can make your body and mind feel better and watching my clients hit their goals and achieve things they never thought they could, all with a smile.
Ellie Kohl

From a young age I have been invested in fitness and competing. I participated in many sports growing up, but volleyball quickly became my passion. I was first introduced to strength training after I suffered an unfortunate back injury. Lifting not only helped me recover from injuries, but gave me a sense of empowerment.
I know at a young age I wanted to pursue a career in health science, specifically Physical Therapy. My passion is to help people live a healthy lifestyle to the fullest. I graduated from UNCW with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and I plan to attend PT school in the Fall of 2023.
